Washing
Hand Washing (Recommended)
- Use cold water
- Only use neutral/mild detergent (if needed)
- Wash happi coat inside out
- DO NOT use bleach
- DO NOT use fabric softener
If Machine Washing, place happi coat inside a mesh bag and wash on gentle/delicate cycle.
Drying
- Only air dry away from direct sunlight
- Dry happi coat inside out
- Lie flat or use a hanger that keeps arms straightened (available to purchase)
- DO NOT machine dry. Heat may cause shrinkage and color loss
Ironing
- Use a low temperature to avoid damaging the fabric
- DO NOT iron directly. Use a pressing cloth or similar in between.
- DO NOT iron while the happi coat is wet. Doing so can cause shrinkage and damage to the fabric.
Storage
- Happi coat must be stored out of direct sunlight.
- Use a hanger that keeps arms straightened OR fold the happi coat similar to how it was packaged.
